Knitting & Crochet Class Schedule :: Summer, 2010

Knitting Club - $54   6 two-hour classes

 Also known as knitting circles or “sit and knit,” these classes are part social and part instructional.  An experienced instructor will attend each session and students can bring any project they’re working on and ask questions as needed.  That makes these classes very flexible.  Think of them as semi-private lessons!  Yarn for the first project can be purchased anywhere; we ask you to purchase yarn for subsequent projects from Center Street Knits. 

We have openings in most of our ongoing Club sessions.

Private Lessons - $35   one hour

Don't see what you're looking for in our class list?  Do you have a crazy schedule?  If so, consider private lessons.  Only $35 per hour.  You pick the topic, we will supply an amazing teacher.  By appointment.

Intro to Knit for Adults - $65  5 two-hour classes (includes materials)

Suitable for:  students new to knitting or those who want a refresher course.

This course will take you through garter, stockinette, ribbing, lace and cable stitches with basic shaping.  You will learn to recognize these stitches while making swatches of each.  At the end of the course, we will help you pick your first project and start you along your knitting journey with confidence.  The following materials are included in the price:
