Materials Needed
  • For babies through 1-2 years:  1 50g skein of DK weight yarn
    For older kids, 1 100g skein of worsted weight yarn
  • For babies through 1-2 years:  US 7 (4.5mm) 16" circular and double-point needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • For older kids, US 8 (5mm) 16" circular and double-point needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Tapestry needle
  • Optional:  button(s) for decoration

Gauge
DK:  18 stitches and 24 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in St st.
Worsted:  16 stitches and 22 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in St st.

Sizes
Tiny (for baby), Bigger (for up to 12 months), Super (1-2 years)
Use heavier yarn for bigger kids to fit up to 6-8 years!
